MVP Foundation Lockers Comfort Sick Children

Having begun his career in hospitality more than 25 years ago, Andrew Stegen has successfully risen through the ranks of hotel management, and he currently serves as a senior General Manager for Dolce Hotels and Resorts. Now, in addition to his career in resort management, he sits on the board of directors for charity organizations such as the MVP Foundation.

The MVP Foundation serves the children of Arizona by offering educational programs and resources to improve their lives. The organization specifically strives to help children improve their academic performance, develop valuable life skills, and avoid high-risk behavior. The foundation sponsors three signature programs to achieve its goals, one of which is the MVP Locker Program.

There are currently three MVP lockers placed in Arizona hospitals. These lockers are filled with toys and other items that provide comfort to the hospitals’ ill children. The foundation placed the first two MVP lockers in Phoenix at the Children’s Health Center at St. Joseph’s in 2007. In 2008, the foundation added an MVP locker at Tucson’s University Medical Center. Together, these three lockers have made a positive difference in the lives of well over 100,000 children.
